Good weather, Good friends, Good sends.

So I officially started off the 09-10 season with a trip to Rocktown, GA with Charles, Josh, and Dyno. Even though I've only made it out there three times its one of my favorite places to climb.The weather was beautiful and friction was great we had all the makings off a sick climbing day. After warming up for a bit I got on this really cool problem called Soap On A Rope (V4) and I keep falling on the sketchy top out. Another problem i really enjoyed was, one of the most beautiful boulder' ive seen, Comet (V5).

Josh ended up sendign two burly V8's and Charles sent the one super sick high ball V5 called Croc Bloc. Of course we stopped by Uncle Jed's and got some eatz. All in all a good day.

On another note I have officailly been up for over 36 hours. I am not sure how or exaclty why but i have. Insomnia??? Who knows. I plan on crashing hard after i finish writing this.

Fall is here

Fall is officially here and I love it. My big Smokey Mtn camping trip didn't exactly go as planned. I had to settle with a night at Chester Frost park in Soddy Daisy. Oh well what can you do? It was still fun though. Luckily we got the sweetest tent site in the park. We made a campfire, smores, the whole shebang.


I brought my climbing shoes but sadly there were no rocks to be seen. BUT me and my friend Ryan found a playground and we set a couple of sweet FA playground problems. I'm pretty sure every other camper in the park thought we were insane.

I went to the Ruby Falls Haunted Cavern last night with my cousins from GA. It was pretty good I must say. I enjoy haunted houses. I enjoy being scared. To really have fun at them I believe you gotta leave your cool kid's hat at the door. There was a long line to get in. We waited about a hour and twenty minutes but I thought it was worth it. I lead our group on the way through so I got majority of the scares taken out on me. But it is about that time to get ready for work. I'll check back in a couple of days.

ssitting, waiting, wishing

So the weather these past couple of months just plain ole sucks. Didn't get to go out to LRC today. Seems like im never gonna be able to get outside. I guess it could be a blessing in disguise for my pulley's. I'm about ready to start hitting up the gym again soon. I'm getting syked on a couple of boulders right now. 3 problems i wanna put work on are: Diesel Power (5) Human Hand Grenade (6) and Space (8). I know Space might be a little out of my range but i put a little work of it last time I was out there and I think it can be done. I also CANNOT WAIT to head out to Rocktown, Ga. I tried going out there last week but all this rain has washed the road away and there is absolutly no way to get by. Hopefully they fix it soon.

I'm starting to get the ball rolling on getting my own place. I'm looking at Mountain Brook Apts in red bank or possibly a house in North Chatt. I'd prefer the house.

Gotta work later tonight. I cannot belive my life has come to living with my parents and working at Olive Garden. But then again i'm only 19. I keep telling myself that cause it makes me feel better. I'm ready to go back to school. I don't know it if will be this Spring like i was planning but I will for sure be back by next year.

I'm about to start a new book Wild at Heart: Discovering the Secret of a Man's Soul by John Eldredge. Let ya know how it goes.

Here we go.

So, here is my first post. I'll be be putting up alot of pics and videos of my climbing adventures along with other misc stuff. My climbing status right now is still WIA but my pulleys are feeling MUCH better. I think they're about ready to get on some stone. I will be making a trip out to LRC some time this week but I'll take it easy, no super hard climbing.

With this amazing fall weather we've been having I'm planning to visit the Great Smokey Mtns for some camping with friends from work. Nothing too crazy. Just to relax and get away from some things for a couple days. Should be fun. Ill be sure to post some pics up. Hoping for rain free weather. Fingers crossed.
